The article is focused on the queen Meryetamun, or Ahmose-Meryetamun, whose mummified remains were found in the “Royal Cache” TT 320 at Deir el-Bahri. The author re-examines existing information and comes to conclusion that the woman in question was one of the important Ahmoside queens who lived between the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th Dynasty and died in the last part of the king Ahmose’s reign. Her conclusions advise placing this queen one generation before the king Ahmose, as a wife of Seqenenre Tao I or maybe Kamose.
