The entrance of the museum is marked by a stone wall which encloses the area once used as a cemetery and now divided in two zones: the first is paved and has benches and exhibitors, the second one is a lawn.Inside some objects are are on wooden exhibitors, others on iron elements; cuts in the walls and changings in the pathways allow the vision of a fresco and of some sculptures. The route goes on into the cloister: an iron rack supports brackets and console table for stone pieces. Leaving apart the XVI century logic of the cultural divertissment the pieces as well as the spaces are scientifically set, being enjoiable into a continuous play of references between indoor and outdoor, between garden and halls, halls and cloister.

L'ingresso del museo è segnato da un muro di pietra che completa la chiusura dell'area un tempo adibita a sepolcreto ed ora divisa in due zone: la prima lastricata dove trovano posto panchine ed espositori, la seconda sistemata a prato. All'interno i pezzi sono collocati su espositori in legno ed elementi in ferro, mentre tagli nelle pareti e mutamenti nei percorsi permettono la visione di un affresco e della statuaria. Il percorso procede nel chiostro con l'inserimento di una cremagliera che sorregge staffe e piani di appoggio. Abbandonata la logica cinquecentesca del gioco culturale, gli oggetti, così come gli ambienti, sono qui ordinati in maniera scientifica, risultando godibili in un continuo gioco di rimandi fra interno ed esterno, fra giardino e sale, fra sale e chiostro.
