Lambda-parameter of lattice QCD with the overlap-Dirac operator

We compute the ratio Lambda(L)/-Lambda((M) over bar (S) over bar) between the scale parameter Lambda(L), associated with a lattice formulation of QCD using the overlap-Dirac operator, and Lambda((M) over bar (S) over bar) of the (M) over bar (S) over bar renormalization scheme. To this end, the necessary one-loop relation between the lattice coupling g(0) and the coupling renormalized in the (M) over bar (S) over bar scheme is calculated, using the lattice background field technique.
