Fratture dei mascellari in età pediatrica: strategie terapeutiche. Studio multicentrico

Fractures of the jawbone involve asthetie and/or functional issues when not correctly treated especially in pediatric age. According to international literature they can be due to either the choice or the fixative methodology, or the delayed surgical treatment. In this work the authors quote the therapetic purpose and strategies available to redtore autonomy functionality andd aesthetic of the mouth face-maxillary area in the child. Reviewing the literature one infers how a correct and timely diagnosis proves to be of great importance to the maxillo-facial surgeon, the paediatric conducting the most appropriate tretment by virtue of location of the nature of the fracture with respect to patien's age.
