Abstract
Event-related potentials (ERPs), elicited by an auditory odd-ball paradigm (P300) were recorded in 37 epileptic patients (Ep; 10 with primary generalized and 27 with partial seizures) and in 30 age-matched controls. Ep showed significantly prolonged N2 and P3 latencies, and in a less degree N1, compared with controls. By considering single cases, 40% with generalized epilepsy and 66% with partial seizures had P300 abnormalities. A positive correlation between the seizure frequency, polytherapy and P300 changes was noted. Our findings suggest the use of P300 in evaluation of EpFile in questo prodotto:
