We investigated the rotational dynamics of molecular tracers dissolved in a polymeric mesophase using two magnetic resonance spectroscopies. It is found that the coupling between the reorientation and the viscous flow is partial and well described by the fractional Debye-Stokes-Einstein law tau proportional to eta(xi) with 0 < xi less than or equal to 1, tau and eta being the rotational correlation times of the tracers and the viscosity respectively.

Abstract
We investigated the rotational dynamics of molecular tracers dissolved in a polymeric mesophase using two magnetic resonance spectroscopies. It is found that the coupling between the reorientation and the viscous flow is partial and well described by the fractional Debye-Stokes-Einstein law tau proportional to eta(xi) with 0 < xi less than or equal to 1, tau and eta being the rotational correlation times of the tracers and the viscosity respectively.File in questo prodotto:
