The BOD OxiTop® method was assessed as a suitable tool to determine fungal growth of an antagonistic Trichoderma virens strain isolate. In fact, experimental results showed a significant correlation between oxygen consumption and biomass production, this allowing the evaluation of fungal growth by the indirect measure of oxygen consumption.

Abstract

The BOD OxiTop® method was assessed as a suitable tool to determine fungal growth of an antagonistic Trichoderma virens strain isolate.
