Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) are important effectors in host immune responses to intracellular pathogens and tumors and have been shown to play a critical role in the control of HIV infection ( [Koup et al., 1994] and [Rowland-Jones et al., 1997]). Efficient and accurate measurement of CTL activity is therefore important for the evaluation of cellular immune responses to viral infections and in assisting the design of immunotherapeutic interventions and vaccines.

Abstract
Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) are important effectors in host immune responses to intracellular pathogens and tumors and have been shown to play a critical role in the control of HIV infection ( [Koup et al., 1994] and [Rowland-Jones et al., 1997]). Efficient and accurate measurement of CTL activity is therefore important for the evaluation of cellular immune responses to viral infections and in assisting the design of immunotherapeutic interventions and vaccines.File in questo prodotto:
