In this paper the Authors have studied the natural and artificial lighting of a new day care centre for people with Alzheimer’s disease within the S. Chiara health structure in Volterra (Italy). The day care centre has been designed as a research laboratory for the investigation of the light and colour effects on a group of guests at the disease intermediate stage.
