We report the convenient use of 96-well microtiter plates in monitoring kidney recipient follow up by the measurement of urinary enzyme excretion rates: both the brush-border alanine aminopeptidase (AAP)and the lysosomal N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase (NAG) were assayed. Precisione and accuracy of enzyme activity determination were sufficiently preserved to advise this methodology when processing large number of samples.
