Abstract
The aim is to assist in resolving the discrepancy between swarm-derived, theoretical and beam-measured vibrational cross-sections. Monte Carlo simulations of a Townsend-Huxley experiment in H-2 at 77 K are reported which call into question the accuracy of characteristic energies used in swarm analyses. Good accuracy seems to be confirmed for drift velocities.File in questo prodotto:
