In this work, an experimental investigation of the application of a diversity scheme in on-body high-rate communication systems is presented. In these days, diversity is widely applied at base station receivers of mobile cellular systems and recent studies have been conducted on portable devices. At the best of the authors' knowledge, no experimental or simulated analysis for diversity on on-body systems is available in the scientific literature. Diversity scheme performances are evaluated in terms of the diversity gain and all measurements have been carried out at 2.45 GHz (ISM frequency band).

Abstract
In this work, an experimental investigation of the application of a diversity scheme in on-body high-rate communication systems is presented. In these days, diversity is widely applied at base station receivers of mobile cellular systems and recent studies have been conducted on portable devices. At the best of the authors' knowledge, no experimental or simulated analysis for diversity on on-body systems is available in the scientific literature. Diversity scheme performances are evaluated in terms of the diversity gain and all measurements have been carried out at 2.45 GHz (ISM frequency band).File in questo prodotto:
