The architectural survey of the 17th-century Triangular Fortress in Butrint was part of a wider project aimed at the architectural restoration and valorization of the most important monuments of the archaeological site of Butrint, UNESCO. The survey was carried out in 2012 with instrumental methodology, integrated by direct measurements. On the basis of some documents stored in the historical archives of Venice, it was possible to deeply analyze the historical evolution of the fortress.
