Physical aging of a side chain liquid crystal polymethacrylate is investigated by following the enthalpy recovery in DSC experiments after proper annealing procedures at temperatures below the glass transition. Data are analyzed according to a three-parameter model. The temperature dependence of the aging parameters is established and a comparison with data pertaining to PMMA is performed.

Abstract
Physical aging of a side chain liquid crystal polymethacrylate is investigated by following the enthalpy recovery in DSC experiments after proper annealing procedures at temperatures below the glass transition. Data are analyzed according to a three-parameter model. The temperature dependence of the aging parameters is established and a comparison with data pertaining to PMMA is performed.File in questo prodotto:
