A fluid inclusion study performed in quartz crystals of syntectonic veins developed during the first deformation phase in the Massa Unit of Monti Pisani (Northern Apennines) led to gain some new data about the thermobaric evolution of this tectonic unit. Petrographic, microthermometric and Raman data highlighted the presence of three phases aqueous-carbonic inclusions. Isochores distribution, combined with the study of riequilibration textures of fluid inclusions, indicate that the Monti Pisani massif could have been experienced, during the first tectonic phase, higher pressure values (between 0.6 and 0.7 Gpa) than that accepted till now.

Abstract
A fluid inclusion study performed in quartz crystals of syntectonic veins developed during the first deformation phase in the Massa Unit of Monti Pisani (Northern Apennines) led to gain some new data about the thermobaric evolution of this tectonic unit. Petrographic, microthermometric and Raman data highlighted the presence of three phases aqueous-carbonic inclusions. Isochores distribution, combined with the study of riequilibration textures of fluid inclusions, indicate that the Monti Pisani massif could have been experienced, during the first tectonic phase, higher pressure values (between 0.6 and 0.7 Gpa) than that accepted till now.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
