In 2013 a research group was born in association with the course of Storia degli Insediameni Tardo Antichi e Medievali at the University of Pisa (Late Antiquity and Medieval Sites - Master degree in Archaeology). The group incorporates academics and amateur historians, archaeologists, experts in software GIS, and master students in a study of a small, but representative, space of inner Lunigiana, related to the town of Casola (Massa Carrara, Tuscany, Italy). The search originates from two scientific backgrounds, one more related to historical analysis and the other more specifically archaeological, which are meant to be combined harmoniously in order to produce a unified proposal of historical changes of the rural landscape.

Abstract
In 2013 a research group was born in association with the course of Storia degli Insediameni Tardo Antichi e Medievali at the University of Pisa (Late Antiquity and Medieval Sites - Master degree in Archaeology). The group incorporates academics and amateur historians, archaeologists, experts in software GIS, and master students in a study of a small, but representative, space of inner Lunigiana, related to the town of Casola (Massa Carrara, Tuscany, Italy). The search originates from two scientific backgrounds, one more related to historical analysis and the other more specifically archaeological, which are meant to be combined harmoniously in order to produce a unified proposal of historical changes of the rural landscape.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
