The aim of the Authors is to study and compare, through in situ measurements and modeling software, the lighting of an office building with linear fluorescent lamps and LED tubes. Using the results of the Lighting Energy Numeric Indicator, the annual energy consumption due to lighting has been calculated. The evaluation of the operative costs saving and of the expected payback time due to the replacement of the lamps has been carried out. The analysis has been completed by the estimation of CO2 emission saving due to the use of LED tubes.

Abstract
The aim of the Authors is to study and compare, through in situ measurements and modeling software, the lighting of an office building with linear fluorescent lamps and LED tubes. Using the results of the Lighting Energy Numeric Indicator, the annual energy consumption due to lighting has been calculated. The evaluation of the operative costs saving and of the expected payback time due to the replacement of the lamps has been carried out. The analysis has been completed by the estimation of CO2 emission saving due to the use of LED tubes.File in questo prodotto:
