Abstract
The excellent epigraphic work by Pitard has made the fragmentary tablet KTU 1.83 available today to scholars. This new edition, with its fresh interpretational proposals, has contributed towards re-evaluating a text that has long been absent from scholarly discussion. In this paper we examine the content of lines 4-10 which appear to be of particular relevance to the reconstruction of the mythical motif of the defeat of the Sea Dragon.File in questo prodotto:
