In the heart of Oman. The castle of Salut

This book is not for specialists only. I used to regard the dissemination of my knowledge for the wider public of little importance. In Oman, instead, I have learned to carry forward the dissemination of research results as an integral part of my profession. Nevertheless, to communicate the results (at times surprising) of archaeological research in pre-Islamic Arabia is not an easy task. The history of Arabia before Islam is an unexplored topic to the majority of the ‘visitors’ of our virtual museum, so it is difficult to find the right paths to present it and provide the necessary data to help understand it.
