«In una parola, io tengo in gran conto Goethe o Shakespeare, ma ben poco Schiller»: il giudizio di Büchner su Schiller e le sue implicazioni ermeneutiche.

This article aims to analyse Büchner's critical judgement of Schiller's theatre, in order to understand the fundamental reasons for this and its significant hermeneutic implications. Büchner's judgement is presented after a brief historical premise. While taking some interpretations into consideration, the article investigates apparent similarities between the two author's declarations of poetics, the relationship between argumentative topoi and theatre, and Büchner's point of view, which establishes his judgement and is translated into specific aesthetic solutions marking the distance between his and Schiller's theatre.
