Gli artisti duecenteschi di Arogno e i portali delle cattedrali di Lucca e Trento tra scelte iconografiche, sperimentalismi tecnici e strategia comunicativa

The studies of the past decades focused on relationships and composition of workshops of “Lake Artists” dynasties. These researches supported comparisons of archival resources and new analysis on art and architecture works. Among the results of this kind of approach is the possibility to better define their chronology. The activity of masters from the same Ticinese village, Arogno, in Trento and Lucca in XIIIth century despite the geographical distance and the different politcal and economical background is here presented as interesting study case of this methodology.
