A gender-responsible science and technology is a way to enhance the quality of life for both women and men, in Europe and worldwide. Based on this assumption, the Univeristy of Pisa, in the context of the european project named TRIGGER (TRansforming Institutions by Gendering contents and Gaining Equality in Research), has implemented a specific action plan, since 2014, in order to contribute to mainstream gender in medical research. The articole provides some information about the University of Pisa action plan and its implementation.
