The paper aims to map the presence of immigrant languages spoken by the new minorities of Italy through the use of new methodologies and tools of investigation able to map the linguistic diversity of a territory in order to under stand the changes in the Italian current linguistic situation and inquire into the impact of minority languages on the Italian linguistic space. We collected data in the part of Roma called Esquilino, where in recent years many migrants have opened shops, travel agenzie, phone centres, restaurants, cafés, etc. and where a lot of tourists usually come into contact with new minority people and languages. We will see how new minority languages deeply affect the urban landscape of Esquilino being in contact with Italiana as well. Furthermore new minority languages can notably influence the tourist market as service providers influencing the destination image also through their languages-
