This article deals with the phenomenon of euergetism during the Roman Imperial period, and the author tries to suggest a connection between this important social practice and some developments of the thought of the Stoic philosophy.
In questo contributo si cerca di analizzare il fenomeno dell’evergetismo in età imperiale e di istituire una correlazione significativa tra la sua grande espansione e alcuni sviluppi pratici della riflessione stoica.
