Through the comparison of historical and recent aerophotos and investigation in the field, analyzed the changes in agroforestry landscape of hilly area south of Pisa. This semi-natural vegetation seems deeply modified in its original floristic composition, with an abnormal distribution of Robinia pseudoacia, although the forest area appear much wider than in the past. Major changes are highlighted against the agricultural landscape.
