This paper deals with the characterization of magnetic hysteresis losses in soft ferrites. The analysis is performed via an extended classical inductive method. Asymmetric minor loops are in particular investigated and an "energetic approach" is proposed to discuss the case of accommodating loops. Results are shown and discussed throughout the paper.
