The paper will discuss the possibility of an intercultural communication from a philosophical point of view. First of all, it defines some important concepts: assimilation; integration; culture; communication. Then some concrete aspects that characterize the profile of the intercultural communicator, and his/her specific activity, are discussed. Finally the ethical motivation, which this activity requires, is defined and founded.
