As a main outcome of the long term (more than 10 years at this moment) cooperation between University of Pisa and University of Zagreb, the UMAE (Uncertainty Method based on Accuracy Extrapolation) was issued and applied. The application of the method required gathering a huge database of experiments and related qualified code calculations; Counterpart Tests (CT) had a key role in this connection. Abstract

The present paper deals with the application of the method to a Small Break Loss of Coolant Accident (SBLOCA) scenario in the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) owned by Croatia and Slovenia and installed in Slovenia.
