ABSTRACT After reconstructing the key arguments of Ferdinando Menga’s book Lo scandalo del futuro, the present article draws upon the book’s conclusions to develop the theme concerning the relationship with posterity and the responsibility that follows from it. It aims to advance some arguments in support of the recognition of the rights of future generations.
