Little is known about the action observation network (AON) in typically developing (TD) children and even less in children with Unilateral Cerebral Palsy (UCP). The aim of this fMRI study was to explore and compare the AON and the sensory‐motor network (SMN) in UCP children with those of TD children and also to analyse the relationship between AON (re)‐organization and different neurophysiological and clinical measures.

Abstract

Little is known about the action observation network (AON) in typically developing (TD) children and even less in children with Unilateral Cerebral Palsy (UCP). The aim of this fMRI study was to explore and compare the AON and the sensory‐motor network (SMN) in UCP children with those of TD children and also to analyse the relationship between AON (re)‐organization and different neurophysiological and clinical measures.
