This paper presents some activities in progress in the framework of the Prot-one Project, funded by Regione Toscana, aimed at increasing the safety level of Rechargeable Lithium Batteries for naval propulsion. We describe an experimental analysis aimed at investigating cell and module behavior during internal short circuits together with a new (patent pending) auxiliary safety system aimed at mitigating the consequences of internal battery short circuits. Abstract
Experimental results are discussed throughout the paper.File in questo prodotto:
