The purpose of this work is to analyze and identify the processes that have allowed the former colony to maintain,despite global geopolitical changes,the new globalization of the economy and communications,a role of absolute importance in the ranking of cities in the world. The focus is on the economic evolution of R.A.S. (Special Administrative Region): identify the causes that have led Hong Kong to be a financial gateway for China and to become a pole of information technology in the Asia-Pacific global region.
