This article aims at investigating the representation of marginality that underpins some short stories by Max Aub and Ramón J. Sender. These narrations paint a fresco in which marginality is paradigmatically embedded in the protagonists of each text, as well as in their narrators. Escaping norms and eluding orthodoxy is not an exception in the work of both authors; on the contrary, it is a constant that becomes a hermeneutic tool for the interpretation of the literary exile, a borderline reality itself.

Abstract
This article aims at investigating the representation of marginality that underpins some short stories by Max Aub and Ramón J. Sender. These narrations paint a fresco in which marginality is paradigmatically embedded in the protagonists of each text, as well as in their narrators. Escaping norms and eluding orthodoxy is not an exception in the work of both authors; on the contrary, it is a constant that becomes a hermeneutic tool for the interpretation of the literary exile, a borderline reality itself.File in questo prodotto:
