The article aims at investigating the contribution of Luis de Góngora and Francisco de Quevedo to the satirical literary tradition against nuns. Starting from the collation of a minimum corpus of poems that both authors dedicated to mock the nuns —alluding to their reprehensible behaviors—, we intend to demonstrate the different approach, tone and purpose that characterize their respective approaches to the subject.
