Starting from a focus on the "paradigm shift" that Law 517 has determined in the Italian school system, this contribution examines the current critical features of the inclusive model in Italy and - in a comparative perspective with other European countries - its prospects for improvement and development, in the light of the changes introduced by the Legislative Decree 66/2017 and of the further innovations that will be produced by implementing provisions and ministerial regulations.
Partendo da una messa a fuoco sul “cambio di paradigma” che la Legge 517 ha determinato nel sistema scolastico italiano, questo contributo esamina le attuali criticità del modello inclusivo in Italia e - in un’analisi comparativa con altri Paesi Europei – le sue prospettive di miglioramento e sviluppo.
