The present article intends, first, to reconstruct the image of Francisco de Quevedo by studying some of his satirical burlesque poems in which self-representative and autobiographical elements appear. Apparently ambiguous and fragmentary, these elements, as a whole, offer a very authentic and personal vision of the writer. Secondarily, it aims at exploring these burlesque autoetopoeias to know their characteristics and their relation both with Gongora’s example and the canons of portrait rhetoric.

Abstract
The present article intends, first, to reconstruct the image of Francisco de Quevedo by studying some of his satirical burlesque poems in which self-representative and autobiographical elements appear. Apparently ambiguous and fragmentary, these elements, as a whole, offer a very authentic and personal vision of the writer. Secondarily, it aims at exploring these burlesque autoetopoeias to know their characteristics and their relation both with Gongora’s example and the canons of portrait rhetoric.File in questo prodotto:
