This year the “Global Women’s Breakfast 2025” event, organized on the University campus of Chieti and promoted by IUPAC, focused on the importance of innovative and inclusive science education. The role of multidisciplinarity / interdisciplinarity and the necessity of breaking down academic barriers to make science more accessible to everyone were discussed by experts. The meeting strengthened networking between women scientists, who intend to voice a demand for cultural and structural change in the Italian academic system.
