A solution to integrate multiple antenna elements resonating at different frequencies into one compact layout to cover both low- and high-frequency bands is presented in this paper. The proposed structure is low profile, compact, and wideband, it is suitable to be integrated into a handset, under the shark-fin cover, or into a small cavity embedded on a vehicle roof. The proposed cellular antenna consists of a diplexer, a printed inverted-F antenna, and a monopole covering the various services in the range between 617 and 5500 MHz. In particular, printed PIFA is used to cover the low-frequency band while circular Ultra-Wideband monopole is used to cover the high-frequency band.

Abstract
A solution to integrate multiple antenna elements resonating at different frequencies into one compact layout to cover both low- and high-frequency bands is presented in this paper. The proposed structure is low profile, compact, and wideband, it is suitable to be integrated into a handset, under the shark-fin cover, or into a small cavity embedded on a vehicle roof. The proposed cellular antenna consists of a diplexer, a printed inverted-F antenna, and a monopole covering the various services in the range between 617 and 5500 MHz. In particular, printed PIFA is used to cover the low-frequency band while circular Ultra-Wideband monopole is used to cover the high-frequency band.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
