The disquac group contribution model for correlating and predicting the thermodynamic properties of liquid mixtures (phase diagrams and basic excess functions) is applied to some binary mixtures containing n-alkanals + cyclohexane, + benzene, + tetrachloromethane, and + 1-chloroalkanes. A fairly good description of the thermodynamic properties of mixing is obtained when the model is used with the group interaction parameters determined in the paper.

Abstract
The disquac group contribution model for correlating and predicting the thermodynamic properties of liquid mixtures (phase diagrams and basic excess functions) is applied to some binary mixtures containing n-alkanals + cyclohexane, + benzene, + tetrachloromethane, and + 1-chloroalkanes. A fairly good description of the thermodynamic properties of mixing is obtained when the model is used with the group interaction parameters determined in the paper.File in questo prodotto:
