Inscriptions from museums in the region of Dhamār : Qatabanians in Baynūn and the goddess Athirat (ʾṯrtn)

In this volume in honour of Francesco Bron (as I always called François, affectionately Italianizing his name), I publish two inscriptions from two museums in the governorate of Dhamār: the Museum of Baynūn and the Regional Museum of Dhamār. The first inscription is Qatabanic — F. Bron contributed greatly to our knowledge of the language and culture of Qatabān with his attentive editions of many Qatabanic texts — and the second is on an incense burner dedicated to the goddess Athirat (F. Bron, too, wrote an article about the goddess).
