Abstract
The use of a drop calorimeter is proposed for measuring enthalpy changes of highly concentrated aqueous salt solutions. for temperatures up to 573 K and at the pressures of the saturated vapor. The system KCl-H2O was investigated at 333-493 K and for concentrations from 1 to 9 m. Exptl. data were used to calculate heat capacities at the saturation, csat, and at constant pressure, cp. Apparent molal heat capacities of the examined solutions are in fair agreement with literature data.File in questo prodotto:
