One of the not solved research topic in fuel cell system design is the clean up process. Desulphurization is one of the most critic aspect of the clean up in terms of efficiency, operating conditions and system integration. This article investigates the main technologies for reducing concentration of H2S in both anode and cathode flow gas. Part of the activity concern realization and testing of the most developed filtering solutions, evaluating the introduction of standard and new technologies in fuel cell system process. An extended bibliography research contains the main technologies solutions for H2S measurement in the flow gas and the application of instrumentation in order to evaluate H2S concentration in fuel cell system process mixtures.
