Abstract

In this paper, a new recently proposed method based on a synthetic aperture technique for localization and tracking of moving UHF-RFID tags for logistics applications is presented, extended, and experimented in a real indoor scenario. Algorithm performance is evaluated through a numerical model including realistic effects such as noise, clutter and multipath. Moreover, the tag localization capability is tested with real data acquired through a measurement campaign in a conveyor belt scenario.
