The interest of the scientific community and governing bodies in studying relationships between architecture and public health, demonstrates that urban space and health are two realities that need to progress in close connection. If architecture is a complex phenomenon, not just the art of building, interacting with time, space and social context, an interdisciplinary dialogue that connects the different knowledge that conditions the development of the city and the art of manufacturing becomes relevant. For a fruitful reconnection between health, urban planning and architectural planning, in line with current research on sustainable development and environmental sustainability, the contribution of psychology of sustainability and sustainable development to wellbeing opens up new scenarios and research areas for designers.

Abstract
The interest of the scientific community and governing bodies in studying relationships between architecture and public health, demonstrates that urban space and health are two realities that need to progress in close connection. If architecture is a complex phenomenon, not just the art of building, interacting with time, space and social context, an interdisciplinary dialogue that connects the different knowledge that conditions the development of the city and the art of manufacturing becomes relevant. For a fruitful reconnection between health, urban planning and architectural planning, in line with current research on sustainable development and environmental sustainability, the contribution of psychology of sustainability and sustainable development to wellbeing opens up new scenarios and research areas for designers.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
