Abstract
We discuss an approach based on the laser technology for accelerating high-intensity proton beams in order to produce high-intensity, low-energy (10-200 MeV) neutrino beams. We show that the technological challenges involved in the realization of these new sources are strongly linked to the requirements for the practical use of laser-driven inertial-confinement fusion (ICF).File in questo prodotto:
